As I said in reply to your last message, I don't really help with Half-Life 1 anymore, as it's so long since it came out.

trying to get through 12/2, the page you sent did't load. I'm in the the lambda core. when i jump into 6 i keep falling down to the bottom instead of landing on the platform. What should i do ?
Reply:
"trying to get through 12/2, the page you sent did't load" - I don't understand what you mean by this sorry.

I don't really help with Half-Life 1 (I assume that's what game you're talking about), but if I remember rightly, try jumping into the gap next to portal 6 but not into the portal, turn around and look up - you should be able to see the other end of the portal. When you see the platform is about to go below it, walk backwards into the portal. You should land on it perfectly.

I hope you understood that, but I'm sorry if not.

PS - The e-mail address you supplied was invalid.

I'm assuming by your mention of a tram that you're on an episode before Surface Tension? If so, try my detailed Half-Life Walkthrough. If not I'm sorry but I can't help you.

In hl1, is earth run by aliens? Is all of earth city 17? In hl2, does the saga continue? Does it end with the rebels winning? I purchased, HL2 deluxe by Sierra for the PC. Started playin HL2 then decided to start playing HL1 to get a background. Somewhere along I lost site of the story. Are the alien forms such as the zoombies, etc. the result of the experiements conducted at Black Mesa? I finally bought HL2 for Xbox! , got as far as chapter 8 and still find myself having the same unanswered questions regarding the story line. It seems much like halo and halo2. Would you enlightening me. Thanks.
Reply:
Lots of questions! As far as I know, the aliens are only in the Black Mesa Research Facility during Half-Life 1. No, I'm pretty sure there's a lot of other numbered cities. Half-Life 2 is the sequel to Half-Life 1, and Valve are currently working on Half-Life 2 Aftermath, which is a continuation of Half-Life 2. I don't know whether it ends with the rebels winning, you'll have to ask Valve on that one or wait until the last Half-Life game. No, the experiment brought the aliens to Earth. That's probably because Half-Life 2 for Xbox is the same as the PC version! I've never played the Halo games, but I don't think they're very similar to the Half-Life series. I hope this answers your many questions!

Your right of course Simon! I can't believe I put the wrong there! The problem has now been corrected.

"Combine Helicopters" in the enemies section... I think you're referring to "Gun Ships", and on easy they only take 3 rockets to destroy, not 4, i played on it today... :)
Reply:
They're run by the combine, so they're still combine helicopters. They take four hits? OK, I'll take your word for it.

Have you considered some flash banners and getting rid of those sh**ty "unFREEZ" ones? Who is really going to click on a banner that looks that bad?
Reply:
If your referring to the Link banners, they can't really be made with flash because you need to be able to easily put them on your own website. UnFREEz is an one of the many hundreds of animated GIF creators, so you can't really categorise my banners as "unFREEz ones".
