| Unless you jump out the side of the tram at the right moment,
you'll go flying into a pool of water, but don't worry, you need to
be there anyway. You'll see a cage holding some barrels - get out
your crowbar and give the padlock a whack. Swim up a level and go
through the door to the left and swim up the stairs (part of the way
- walk the rest). Use the barrels to cross the water to the other
side. |
| When you've got upstairs jump down into the water on the other
side of the wall to your crashed tram (as in not the same side as
it. So you're not going to your crashed tram, you're going to the
other side of the wall to it). Get your breath, then swim down the
corridor at the bottom. You'll see a door to your right - go through
it to get your breath back, then continue. |
| Optional: When you come to a broken door
further on, look right and you'll find a hole in the floor. Break
it's cover and swim down. Turn around, then go right and swim up.
You'll find some grenade rounds. Return to the corridor and
continue. |
| When you come to a room with five Barnacles, you'll see your
first Ichthyosaur. Walk round, climb the ladder to the right and
listen to the scientist. Use the First-Aid and H.E.V. units if you
need to, then walk along, jump into the cage and pick up the
Crossbow. If you walk off the little platform where the crossbow
was, the cage will fall into the water. You need to then kill the
Ichthyosaur as quickly as possible. Once you've done that, surface
and get your breath back, then swim down to the door and turn the
valve until it is fully open, then swim through and surface before
the door closes again. |
| At a small room full of Barnacles, beware of Alien Slaves
that'll appear if you try to break the big box. In the next room,
try your best to get all the way round the catwalk, jumping over
gaps and avoiding slipping into the water, or else there's two
Ichthyosaurs to kill. Quick-save often. When you've got around, jump
through the gap in the fence, and swim through to the Generator
room. |
| Go up to the Generator control and push the box down. |
| Optional: Follow the corridor until you come to
a door to your left and you'll find ammo and health. Then return to
the Generator control. |
| Jump down to your box and push it to where the other box is by a
broken ladder. Use it to climb up. Kill all the aliens in the next
room and don't miss the H.E.V. unit. Then listen to the scientist
talk to you about your Hazard Suit, the best way to the Lambda
Complex, and the next room. |
| Get through the Freezer as quickly as possible. Try to avoid the
aliens if possible, but if it's not kill them as fast as you can. |
| At the top of the next lift watch the security guard get shot
just before he tells what to make sure you don't do. Then get ready
for your first encounter of the Trained Assassin kind. This would be
a good time to get out the Magnum if you've got enough ammo on it.
Stay low and shoot the assassins when they come into view. Once
you've killed them all, make your way slowly upstairs (in case you
missed one, their good at hiding you know!). "Use" the surface
access lever, then return downstairs and use the First-Aid and
H.E.V. units below if you need to. |
| Optional: Go down a big tunnel next to where
you came in to find a door that leads to a store room with lots of
ammo and another First-Aid unit. Then return to the main room. |
| Walk down the tunnel you just opened up. Get ready for what the
level was named after. Walk towards the First-Aid unit, but you
won't quite make it... |
| When you end up in a big crusher, climb up the
boxes as quickly as possible, then crawl across the crushers and
pick up the Crowbar (you've lost all your weapons). Climb down the
ladder and break the cover blocking your access to the pipe. Jump
in, and continue! Congratulations! You've completed the level!
