Description of where they are and what needs to be done:
Iam in a room where i just went up a lift and i only have the
gravity gun, the only thing i can do in this room is suck these
energy balls towards me a shoot them, even when i shoot them at the
source of the energy wall it does nothing. can you help. .
What they need to do (My reply):
From your description I can't pinpoint exactly where you are, but it
could be one of three locations:
• At the top of the lift (the big one that goes up really slowly):
Suck the energy ball from the energy bar beyond the doorway, not the
ones either side, and you should be able to leave the lift.
• Big electric bar room (see picture 1): In the next room shown in
picture 1, kill all the Combine Soldiers, then continue down the
passage way marked by the arrow on the picture.
• Large Corridor (see picture 2): Jump down, and suck one of the
people holder things to use as a guard so you can get close to the
Combine Soldiers shooting at you. Throw it at them then finish them
off with the Gravity Gun. Use the energy balls to the left and right
to kill the Combine Soldiers and destroy the Strider. Get rid of the
three energy balls beyond the next shield to deactivate it.
